Halo Laser Treatment in Charlotte

Through the years, sun exposure, smoking/alcohol intake as well as unhealthy diet changes can take a toll on your skin causing a natural corrosion of skin cells. As a result, you may be prone to undesirable effects such as discoloration, sun damage, enlarged pores, as well as fine lines and wrinkles at an earlier age. Other lasers may help remove the outer damaged layer of your skin but have not been successful at pursuing deeper within the skin. Halo creates beautiful results without the downtime of more aggressive treatments.

“My skin now feels like it did back in high school. It is so smooth and luminous and I feel like I can’t see the pores on my face anymore. I’ve never felt and looked better.”

Clayton: Crystal Bay, NV

“The best part of my Halo treatment was how easy it was! I have done a few laser and light treatments in the past, but nothing came close. To be able to have a treatment with minimal discomfort, be able to go out the next day and still get results was amazing!”

Gina: Incline Village, CA

“Over the years, I have always worried about how much damage I’ve done to my skin. My freckles turned into brown spots and my pores were large. Halo not only made my skin feel and look amazing but it also reversed the internal sun damage. Halo hit the spot!”

Maria: San Jose, CA

“With Halo, I can achieve results which I would have only expected from an ablative fractional laser, but get downtimes that I would normally see with a non-ablative fractional laser. It really is the best of both worlds.”

What results can I expect?
Halo is a comprehensive laser with maximum results. Expect to see improvement in skin clarity, minimization of fine lines, reduced appearance in pores, and lifting of pigmentation to even and brighten your skin tone and texture.

How many treatments do you need?
Halo technology allows us to adjust your treatment plan according to individual goals and concerns. Your clinician will discuss your treatment plan according to your objectives and the desired level of treatment. For instance, you may choose to have one or two aggressive treatments, or to achieve a comparable result over a longer duration of several treatments.

What happens during the treatment?
After developing a full assessment and treatment plan with our clinician’s, we will have you numb with a topical anesthetic for approximately one hour to make you as comfortable as possible. Our clinician will then measure the treated area with motion tracking technology. This will ensure that the area to be treated is thorough and corrected evenly. The Halo hand piece is then rolled on top of your skin until the session is deemed complete by the laser and clinician.

What does Halo feel like?
Patients will often describe the hand piece as a feeling of heat and occasional tingling of the skin. Our clinicians will be utilizing a topical anesthetic and integrated cooling technology to keep any discomfort to a minimum. After treatment, most patients will experience warming to the skin for an additional 30 minutes, or sometimes a bit longer for more aggressive treatments. Our clinician’s will have products available post treatment to calm and cool your skin.

How soon after my treatment can I return to normal activities?
You will be able to resume most activities within 24 hours, nevertheless, your clinician’s will be giving you specific instructions regarding your skin routine. You are able to wear makeup after the initial 24 hours. You will see little to no change immediately after treatment, however, your skin will develop a darkening of color after a few days. After day three or four, your skin will begin to peel and slowly expose the new skin below.

How long will the results last?
You will see initial results between two and five days after your Halo treatment, but your skin will continue to improve over time. Most patients see the greatest pigmentary improvement in the first two to three weeks. This is followed by a dermal regeneration phase that continues to improve for months.

You will initially see improvement within the first five days, but your skin will continue to improve over time. The greatest improvements regarding pigmentation are in the first three weeks, but collagen stimulation will advance for months. Considering the regeneration of dermal layers, your Halo results will last for years to come if you maintain your results with UV sunscreen daily. Each Halo treatment you will notice younger looking skin and further enhanced results.

How much does a Halo treatment cost?
Your treatment plan is tailored to your concerns, and your provider recommendations to address your skin. This may include a single treatment, or a series of treatments. To discover the best option for you, please schedule with one of our providers for a consultation.
